Description: The Marathon and Half Marathon courses run through beautiful Gallatin Gateway Valley crossing over rivers and running by farms with the Bridger Mountain range in the background. The end of the race will finish on historic Main Street in Bozeman, Montana. Refreshments and awards will take place at the finish area at the conclusion of the race. The Bozeman Marathon is also a Boston Marathon qualifier!

Registration:Registration is online-only and can be accessed by clicking the button above, or at racemontana.com. There is NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION. We encourage you to sign up early. *There are no refunds on registration. No exceptions.
Start Times: Full Marathon & Relay: 7 AM Half Marathon: 8 AM
Cut Off Times:You will have 6.5 hours to complete the race. Streets will begin to open back up at 1:30 PM.
Aid Stations: Aid stations are plentiful along all courses, occuring every 2-3 miles on the Half Marathon, Marathon, and Relay course. The maximum distance between aid stations at any point is 3 miles. Aid stations will be stocked with water and Gatorade. Select stations will have Hammer gel.
Shuttle Bus Times:ALL RUNNERS MUST TAKE THE BUSES TO THE START OF BOTH RACES. THE CITY HAS ENSURED US THAT TOW TRUCKS WILL BE TOWING ANY AND ALL CARS PARKED ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD OR ALONG THE COURSE. *Buses will shuttle marathon and half marathon participants from downtown Bozeman (in front of Bozeman Running Company at 126 E. Main St.) to the starting lines of each race. Gear bags will be transported from both starting lines to the finish area where runners can reclaim their belongings.

Relay Teams: 1st leg racers will ride Full Marathon bus to start at 5:45am; 3rd leg racers will take Half Marathon bus at 7am; all other relay members must provide their own transportation.
Relay Teams: Each relay team consists of 4 runners. Each running leg is approximately 10k. Relay exchange points will be clearly marked with white banners. The 1st runner takes full marathon bus at 5:45am, 3rd runner takes half marathon bus at 7am, the 2nd and 4th runners are responsible for their own transportation to and from relay exchange points. The 2nd runner needs to be at the aid station at the corner of Webb St and Mill St in Gallatin Gateway, in front of Stacey's Steakhouse and the Fire Department. The 4th runner will exchange at the corner of Nash Rd and Sourdough Rd at the aid station.
Relay Team Registration:Relay registration price must be paid in total in one transaction via racemontana.com. Please have one team member create a relay team and process payment via racemontana.com for the entire team. Once this is completed, all remaining teammates will instead click on "Sign Up for an Existing Team" and proceed to enter their registration information in. (i.e., if you have a relay team of four runners, only one runner will have to process payment online for the entire team)
Packet Pickup: Sign up early and pick up your packet at The Element Hotel (25 E Mendenhall St.). Packet pick up will start Friday, September 8th from 4:30p - 8:00p and continue through Saturday, September 9th from 10:00a - 6:00p.

Finish Line/Swag/After Party: The after party will feature music from 12PM to 2PM. All runners will receive a T-shirt and a medal and will be able to join a post-race party in downtown Bozeman!
Results:Results will be posted at the finish line after the race and can also be found here on the webpage under the "Results" tab above. Printed results will also be available at Bozeman Running Company.
